  1. I think we'd stand a good chance of beating Madrid over two legs. Not sure about battering them though Barcelona could be a different proposition, although they do have a few long term injuries to key players at the minute. Anyway, let's win our group, see who we get next, have a good crack at beating them and if it's off to Spain have a fantastic Euro away jolly
  2. I thought it was a decent game. Celtic looked good when in possession, Stracham has got them playing well. I jumped out of my seat when the pen was saved Celtic have always been my Scottish team ( being a left footer and all) What really made the night for me, though , was seeing the Celtic fans singing YNWA - now that's the way to rub it in
  3. I hope he doesn't return. Only because Lyon are a decent side and have more than a good chance of knocking us out. "Hou let the dogs out !" In Ged we trust

  6. high on the list of "musts" being personal hygiene from BBC sport Arsenal's Freddie Ljungberg, who has a food intolerance, is recovering after being struck down by eating a bit of cheese.
  7. Jon Hall is a fecking snide. Looking the other way and taking the pic over his shoulder. As I said to Murph "I hate having my photo taken" to which he replied "I'm not surprised, mate"

  11. Would have liked to have gone to this, but with going to the game tomorrow I've got to show willing to the family cause today. All the best. Hope Bromley win. I'll defo take in a Bromley home game soon, though
  12. Really? You sure? I've been sat next to you when you've made "constructive comments" about Milan Baros. Luis hasn't ever frustrated you one iota?
  13. Not surprised to see Tetti's name reading this thread . Luis infuriates and delights me in equal measures. I read a post on here (or was it on RAWK) that sometimes in games you need a player like Luis to change the game, do the unexpected break the rigid formation of play ( No more so than the FA cup semi-final last year - I think his best game for the club) and I'd agree with that. Anyway. I'm glad we've got him and I hope we keep him !

  16. I think this is exactly the sort of game we need at the moment. A tough away fixture to a team who will be fired up and wanting to show they are still of premiership quality. This is the sort of game that hard work and gumption are equally important as skill and class. If we lose tonight it will be because we fail to impose our class. If we win, it'll show that we have some backbone in the team/squad. I'm looking forward to it !!! Allez les Rouge !!!!

  20. Ok ! Thanks for the invite and your obvious need to come on here and take the flak. Personally, I'd have rathered your fans to have travelled further to see the defeat, but with it only in Southend - they'll be home within the hour !

  23. I'm not an expert on this kind of thing but that photo of Stevie and Carra kissing the Eurpean Cup has just gone on my Christmas list
  24. Add to that. If he thinks a player isn't performing or has given us as much as they can give ( I suppose it could be considered as a bad buy) He ships them out pronto. ie Nunez/ Kronkamp/Josemi/
