Cantona's hype outweighs his ability, but not Best's. If the question were, why isn't Rush talked about as much as Lineker or Shearer, then that might be worthwhile. But that just because he's not English.

ahh right, so its a manc bias, then rather than a factual thing. Don't agree with that in comparing those 2 with Rush. Even ignoring the fact that as players they are very different.

Usher also pointed out that it was a bit of a sensitive one and the club were trying to keep it quiet. Ergo, nothing from Bascombe et al I think he's called them all, including the majority of Chelsea's. Nothing like being grateful for something you've no divine right to receive, is there?

Gala last isn't really what you want, but at least its preceded by two home games, which gives us the chance to go there with nothing to play for.

They have enough matchwinners in the team to win their fair share of games against crap teams, but they they'll lose quite a few as well against better teams. -

played 3 central midfielders and Kalou in midfield last night. If they keep trying to shoehorn all there central midfield players in at the expense of width they are going to lose a few more away games. Hardly a crisis, but a big part of their strength was the wingers. -

I thought it was in last night. He has this thing with those sort of saves of flicking it away at the last minute rather than diving with his arms outstretched. f***ed if I know which is the better technique, but it seems to work There was a similar one last season, top corner, Reina dives but looks like he's nowhere near it, flick of the top arm and its over the bar.

They'd obviously learnt the lesson with Pennant, most of the time he had 2 players near him when he got the ball. One of the few time he was 1 on 1 he set up the goal.

I agree - a bit surprised he's not mentioned more. We've just got used to him being good I suppose. Basically ran the game and didn't give their midfield a seconds peace.
