The only one in the squad I can't really take to is Babel. Never took to Keane, which surprised me, as I'd liked him before he came. And Voronin is a bit of a t*** too. There was a time when I didn't like Gerrard, but those days are long gone. Apart from that I love pretty much all of them, plus ex-players like Crouch and Hamann were boss too. In fact i think the person I'd most like to go on the ale with is Didi. Seems like a dead sound fella, and would be a boss night out with him i reckon.

If I buy a paper I buy The Mirror as whilst it's s*** I think it might piss off The S*n a little bit, so that's the only reason. Papers are s****!!

I always thought many here were my age or older... a lot of recent 'first games' here... it's making me feel old. My first game was a 3-3 draw against Aston Villa in September 1986 (aged 6 years and 2 months), followed by a 2-1 defeat at home to Wimbledon later that season. I can't remember anything about those games bar vaguely remembering Dalglish scoring our goal against Wimbledon. I was only 6 at the time so there's not too much of a surprise I can't remember too much about it. I got my season ticket for the 87-88 season, and can remember a lot more things fron games from that season.
