I wonder who our new penalty taker is

Real have give Endrick the number 9 shirt for the season so that does suggest they’re keeping him.

Shouldn’t take me long now to forget he exists.

Saw a suggestion online that Spurs and City agreed to inflate the Savinho fee and have the Marmoush one at the same amount that City paid so that Eintracht Frankfurt don't take a cut of any profits

Looks like Rio will play on the right at times and hasn't Munoz played all across the line?

Again, if I'm in 'being generous mode' we may have asked if he'd be interested and been told he'd rather go to Barca. I also wonder how eager Newcastle were to deal with us again after Isak.

Yep might well be a sign that Mbaye is a no go so we're looking elsewhere now.

If I was being generous I'd say that this is a sign that the Barcola price is now largely agreed and the club has an idea how much more money it has to spend on these other positions. If I was being generous.

Similar to when we bought Salah. At first people thought the price was high then Neymar went to PSG and warped the rest of the window.

Think you also have to accept that Alisson will get injured and miss 1/3 of the season. That’s what normally happens.

It didn't work.

Isn't this where the insane football finance aspect kicks in where, because it's £30m of pure profit it translates into something stupid like £150m worth of spending potential?

I bet he'll enjoy himself in Italy. He'll get ages on the ball which will help his game and living in Milan sounds pretty good.

Which is about £120mm which seems to be what our latest bid was (according to online noise).

Top 5 1) Arsenal 2) Liverpool 3) Man City 4) Chelsea 5) Mancs Bottom 3 18) Forest 19) Ipswich 20) Hull Champions League Winners - Barcelona UEFA Cup Winners - Juventus FA Cup Winners - Liverpool League Cup WInners - Spurs PL Top Scorer - Haaland 1st Manager sacked - Oliver Glasner Promoted from the Championship West Ham, Burnley, Wrexham

The relationship between Wirtz and Isak has looked decent in the pre-season games I've seen so far

Can Ekitike randomly come on to score as well?

Lazio

Goal.com are saying we've put in an improved 134m euro bid for Barcola

That too but I think it must have been very hard for our players to keep going in every day seeing his empty locker, his place in the dressing room etc. Add in the chanting after 20 minutes of every game (which I understand but am not convinced we should keep doing for the sake of the players) then it must have been a very oppressive atmosphere.

Whilst there are probably lots of other reasons, it's notable that the lads who left us last summer had decent seasons with fresh surroundigns and not being surrounded by the Jota element all the time.

You'd think it's the 11 who started the main Como match yesterday.
