    There were plenty who wanted Houllier out at the end though. I was at the home game against Charlton towards the end of the season in 2004 where we lost 1-0 and the atmosphere was pretty toxic. The phone-ins were full of people wanting him gone. I reckon if the modern internet was around back then we’d see similar as with Slot.
