  1. I keep thinking... They need to mess up two more game than we 'til the end of the season. Little has changed there. If the Mancs lose the game tomorrow we are still on track. This makes it a lot more difficult but the situation is still the same. We need them to make two more mistakes than us until the end of the season. We just made it so that one of those mistakes need to be a loss. That's all. Maybe I'm just way too optimistic? And the lads did us proud today. Fought until the end. Bloody (rare) individual mistakes cost us though.
  2. Do that please!
  3. How did you know?
  4. Rafa's next PC: "Either Mr. Ferguson believed he could beat Everton with his reserve team which is disrespectful to Everton and beyond the Pale or he is afraid that we are catching up with him and was therefor saving his players for the league. <wry smile> I don't know which it is but perhaps you could ask him? </wry smile> Next question please? " Please please please
  5. What do you mean? The world hasn't seen as beautiful football as the Mancs and a*** play since the dawn of time!
  6. C*nt should get his contract ripped up (and his salary donated to the campaign) And tbf Plessis doesn't seem too happy about that.
  7. RIP the 96. Justice!
  8. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAA...... :breaths: ..... HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
  9. I like this one but I agree with Sion.
  10. Insua is really impressive (now watch him go on and make a stupid mistake.... ). Really doesn't play like a 20 year old.
  11. In the first goal we had set up in the usual 4-4 lines in front of Reina. Front 4 try to block the runs and the back four are supposed to clear the most dangerous area. In the second goal it seemed like we only had 3 in a line and then the rest picked up players. But maybe that was because of what Rory mentioned. But either way, blaming zonal marking for the second goal is simply wrong.
  12. Don't know if this has been mentioned but the ref from the game said in a post-match interview that Chelsea officials had said the following in the pre-match meeting: "Claus Bo, remember that we have a few players who are one yellow card away from suspension and we would not be happy if they get a yellow in the match" (my translation from an Icelandic story about this) Should be reported to UEFA if true! Story in Danish: http://www.sporten.dk/fodbold/champions-le...-pavirke-dommer
  13. Shouldn't it be a bannable offence to post the image of that tw*t?
  14. Did anyone of those complaining about zonal marking notice that we didn't actually go zonal marking for the second goal? That we actually went to man-marking on that goal?
  15. They were simply better than us and deserved to win. But a couple of points. 1. Why did we offer Drogba so much space? Why didn't either Alonso or Lucas close him down from the front to get the ball after the bounce (know what I mean?). How were Chelsea able to open up so much space behind our fullbacks and why was nothing done to remedy that at once? 2. Why didn't Rafa react earlier to Stevie being marked out of the game? A simple switch of positions should have been enough. You could move Stevie either back into midfield or out on either flank. That would at least have forced a change from Hiddink. 3. Why didn't Rafa react earlier to our left flank being completely useless in this game? Aurelio had an off game, everyone could see that in the first half. Riera wasn't good either. Why did the only changes come so late? 4. Our team didn't seem interested. Are they so eager to win the league that they simply weren't able to focus on this game? 5. Should we have got a penalty when Torres was brought down as he blasted that shot over the bar? 6. F*ck the commentators and their "zonal marking" BS. In the first goal Xabi should have stopped the run and Skrtel should have got in front of Ivanovic and won the header. Individual mistakes. Second goal we seemed to have changed to man-marking. They didn't bitch about that did they? 7. Do I ask too many questions?
  16. Hertha have apparently agreed a fee with us to buy Voronin (if they get into the Champions League). 4m euros.
  17. I had the big pole exactly in the line from the corner flag to the D. http://tinyurl.com/d7kxug But again, not complaining. For me this trip was like a pilgrimage. To see the Kop sing YNWA, to hear and sing the songs, to see the players and to touch the "This is Anfield sign" and etc. Just an amazing experience. The best "view" I think will always be in front of the TV. But the atmosphere.... just amazing.
  18. Couldn't believe my luck! Although I have to say.... I only saw three of the goals. I never watch the penalties. Stopped watching them the 25th of May 2005. Won't start watching them again any time soon! But again... not that I'm complaining!
  19. I was over for my first trip to Anfield for the Villa game. Amazing experience. But one thing that kind off pissed me off. The tourists (OOT, OOC, basically people like me) seemed to be grouped together. Wouldn't it be better to spread them out to make sure there aren't silent "pockets" of fans here and there in the stadium? And is it common to put the tourists (yes, I call myself a tourist when coming over there.... ) next to the away fans? Found it a bit weird being sat next to the Villa fans (Main Stand, MX block 3rd row). Is it done to keep things more calm or is it simply because they aren't very good seats? Not that I'm complaining. Still haven't got my voice back and still can't stop thinking about the trip. Just a bit disappointed about being sat next to so many who didn't know the most common songs and to be able to truly take part in creating the atmosphere.
  20. I've got no programming skills nor graphic skills but I really like the idea so if there's anything else you could need help with I'd love to help.

  24. Didn't he just play a part of a 4-1 demolition of the Mancs at OT?
  25. Of course not. But (IMHO) it would instil more fear in our opponents which would in return create am advantage for us before the game. Teams playing the mancs are beaten before the game. Largely because they know they will be under pressure for most of the game. Teams playing us know that there's a good change of at least getting a point out of the game because we won't apply any real pressure on teams until we are one goal down or there are 15min left of the game. How often this season have we seen the team really lift their game.... but only after going a goal down? I know it won't solve everything to play with a high pressure from the start but IMO it would result in more points on the board.
