IIRC the rule is that if the foul continues it's the last place the foul took place that matters. Basically the ref can play advantage and then whistle for the foul at the last point of the foul. Don't know if that made any sense at all......

Fair enough. Looked to me like the foul went on into the penalty area (where the AV player fell very easily) but then I only saw it once...

But continued into the penalty area didn't it?

Orri is probably one of the weakest Icelandic football players I've seen! Just goes to show how unreal FM/CM is. (it's still the greatest game there is.....)

I don't understand the stick Lucas gets.... He had a great game up until the last 15min of the game when everyone panicked. He kept it simple, always offered himself for the pass, tried to make positive passes when they were on and made several good runs into the box. Maybe he should do more step-overs and flashy things? Maybe that'd make people warm to him. He'll be a star in the future. The question is if that's with us simply because of the fact we have so many world-class players already at the club. And yes, we weren't very threatening but there was no question which team would win that game in the end. We kept the ball well, we hunted in packs and got a few decent chances that almost always one of which result in a goal. IMO we are seeing Rafa's crushing machine in action. We perhaps don't look very flashy and "Sky Sports Entertaining"© but we are a pain to play against and can change the way we play mid-game. Something very few teams can to the degree we do. We're onto something this year IMHO.
