According to both the Beeb and ITV, all yellow cards are wiped after the group games. Someone's got their info wrong, somewhere.

To be fair, Serbia & Montenegro (the former Yugoslavia) have always had a good pedigree, and they always have some quality players in their side, as they had yesterday. They also went into the tournament having qualified with the best defensive record in the qualifiers - they conceded once in about 12 games or so. You've got to respect that. They did look shambolic though, although I think most teams would have crumbled against the Argies yesterday with the mood they were in. Simply awesome.

That really isn't a bad shout at all, it's not inconceivable for him to maybe have 4 or 5 after the group games. I really can't see T&T dealing with him at all, and he'll cause Paraguay all sorts of problems. Sweden aren't brilliant defensively either.

It looked identical to the injury he sustained against Blackburn. Even the defender's challenge seemed the same. Heartbroke.

That's spot on. Stevie doesn't quite show enough maturity at times when playing central midfield, he can be a bit too gung ho.

Before the second half kicked off Martin Tyler commented on Harry saying that at half time he'd limped down the tunnel and it was looking like he might be struggling. Not a surprise at all to me when he went off. Felt sorry for him too, he's had a good season and his performance alone at Old Trafford in the semi was worth the entrance fee. I hope it wasn't his last game for us, he's a top class player.

2 years ago they wanted shut of him - shows what a patient board does for you. They were absolutely brilliant.

Christ, people rounidng on Crouch, shock. He's had little in the way of service, everything has either bene too short or not aimed at him. Granted he's not been brilliant, but the midfield has been shambolic so far. Can't see Shabby coming out for the second half.
