  1. Jermaine Pennant. Proven in the Premiership, still young, a boyhood red, and a hell of a talented player. £4M-£5M. Eric Abidal. One of the best left backs around and at 26 is just coming into his prime. He was injured the last I heard though. Not sure about price either. Dean Ashton. Young, gifted, great goal-scorer. Another boyhood red too supposedly. West Ham are trying to prise him away with a £7M bid.
  2. Jamie Redknapp reckons he would do a better job than Eriksson.
  3. Pongo. Every penalty I've seen him take has been excellent.
  4. I take it you didn't read the entire thread then?
  5. Knowing Elisha (on here anyway), probably source. He'd be better off at City anyway.
  6. Aye, and the people all wear pointed white hats.
  7. Couldn't agree more Wayne, it's his first bad game for going on 3 months or so, and you could level that at a large chunk of the team. Look, it was an FA Cup game against a team that clearly knows how to play football and has alot of belief. Let's just be glad we're through eh?
  8. I think I'm right in saying that the Spanish pronounce the 'b' in 'Xabier' as a 'v'. So Crisp features pronounciation of Xabi's name is spot on. Don't thank me
  9. I thought Harry was pretty darn good in the second half. It's wrong to single out individuals after the first half though. Saying that, anyone who rates our magnificent captain higher than the rest of the team after the first half showing wants shooting. As for being MOM - you gotta be kidding. Pongolle by a country mile.
  10. Christ, I thought I was watching the footy, not bloody American football.
  11. The '3-1 and you f***ed it up' chant was pissing me off no end until Xabi scored the 5th.
  12. Reo-Coker is a fantastic player, definitely one for the future, and baby Rio isn't a bad defender at all, Rafa and the boys would turn him into quite a player. Definitely wouldn't mind this coming off at all.
  13. With a fully functioning midfield and rampaging Gerrard and Lampard - that's a mouthwatering prospect.
  14. Bolton away is one of the hardest games of the season now.
  15. He started out as a right back come winger, then moved to left back when Juve bought Thuram. He's quality.
  16. You've obviously not watched Juve in years then. Zambrotta is brilliant.
  17. I could be tempted with Zambrotta, but not the rest. Finnan is top class.
  18. Rafa has apparently said this morning that it's the first he's heard of it and no-one has approached them. He's also apparently said that he's happy with the strikers for now and isn't really looking to strengthen there. That could change though, as we all know.
  19. I think people tend to do a bit of a disservice with Phil Neville. He's not a bad player at all really, versatile, hard working, comitted, intelligent with his use of the ball, and I think that if it hadn't been Manchester United he was leaving in the summer, we might have been linked with him and I think quite a few would have been happy to see him linked. He strikes me as a Benitez type of player. Ok, do your worst
  20. Mate...ever heard of irony? Sarcasm? Taking the piss?
  21. Yep.
  22. We're in for Jan kromkamp, the Villareal full-back. We've supposedly offered Yozzer in a swap deal. I'll see if I can find any more on this - Figaro?
  23. Euros? Cheeky twunts.
