Johnson - Okay, so you know better than Benitez, Capello, Ancelloti? All consider(ed) him good enough to be first choice. Maxi - He's a quality player and, if you'd take your blinkers off, you'd recognise it. Maybe he's past his best but he still has more quality than the average Premiership player. He's at least the equivalent of Ji Sung Park or Denilson, ie. a good squad player.

Johnson - Mediocre? As in first choice English right-back who is out of form? Maxi - I thought he was playing quite well last season. Maybe seeing Masch sold and Insua kicked out of the door for Konchesky has had an effect on him? Don't worry though. We have a nice cuddly English manager now who'll surely put his arm around their shoulders and they'll outperform their mediocrity
