  1. If Sion doesn't want em both, could I get the other?
  2. As I said, I tried to edit reference to the rag out, once it was pointed out, but can't do it now. Feel free to...
  3. So Rafa was a c*** for negotiating a large pay off clause and then a c*** for not taking all of it? Your channel of thought is twisted to f***, Ant. Two (of many) reasons why he may not have taken the full 16m (apologies if already mentioned): 1) I assume the 16m was the figure if the contract was terminated on the day it was signed and that figure then reduced as that 5 year period reduced. IIRC he left 18 months after signing the 5 year deal. 2) if he got the full 3.5 years pay off, the contract probably restricted him from being employed by another club for that period of time, i.e. 'gardening leave'. We all know Rafa is a football man and, with Juve and Inter knocking on the door, he probably agreed to a reduced payoff on the agreement he could seek a new employer immediately. Lots of supposition there but all of it plausible. How does that tally with your c***spiracy theory, Ant? One more question, Ant: If he didn't love the club, as you suggest, why do you think he didn't just f*** it off and accept the job offers he got from Real or Citeh?

  5. Unlucky Rimbeux - damned with faint praise! If my memory serves, Reade was always well balanced in terms of his articles during that period so I do think he had contacts at the club that went past the Purslow mafia.
  6. Look, this is BASIC: 10 IF Kenny = "I don't want it" THEN Rafa ELSE Kenny 20 GOTO 10
  7. Fair point but can't edit it now.
  8. Don't be fooled. <Ant> He's just manipulating the fanbase for his own aims </Ant>
  9. We're lucky to have him and Kenny as ambassadors of this club
  10. Super Injunction A Premier League footballer has become the latest high–profile celebrity to win a gagging order preventing the public finding out damaging details of an alleged extramarital affair. The unnamed player is said to have had a six–month relationship with Imogen Thomas, a former Miss Wales who appeared on the Channel 4 series Big Brother. On Thursday, after The Sun claimed 28–year–old Miss Thomas had been meeting the married player for sexual intercourse at hotels, the footballer obtained a High Court injunction against Miss Thomas and the publishers of the newspaper. In a private hearing, Mr Justice Eady granted an interim gagging order until April 20. Miss Thomas, who was not notified of the hearing, will have a chance then to challenge the ruling. More than 30 sportsmen, celebrities and businessmen have been granted injunctions in the past two years, leading to accusations that judges have, in effect, brought in a privacy law without one being passed in Parliament. A leading actor who cheated on his wife with a prostitute is facing an uphill struggle to keep his identity secret, despite being granted a gagging order by a judge. The actor's name appeared on several internet sites yesterday after Helen Wood, a call girl whose other clients have included Wayne Rooney, said she had been paid £195 for sex by the unnamed man. On Wednesday, a High Court judge upheld an order preventing newspapers from naming the "world famous celebrity", as he was described in court, but lifted a ban on naming Miss Wood or detailing the nature of her claims. It led to speculation on the internet about the actor's identity, with a number of websites correctly identifying him. Mark Stephens, a leading media lawyer, said privacy injunctions had created a "two–tier freedom of speech" system. He said: "These injunctions are not enforceable outside the UK, so foreign newspapers and websites are free to report the names of those involved. "In the age of the internet, people using the courts to obtain injunctions ought to be identified, even if the media cannot report why they have sought the injunction, otherwise you have a two–tier freedom of speech situation and that clearly is wrong."
  11. Fair enough. No-one is saying you have to like him, just that you should show him a lot more respect than you do. What were those aims? How do they differ to the good of the team / football club? He was entitled to £16m and left with £6m, of which he donated huge amounts to local charities, including the HJC. What a manipulative, greedy t**. Are you Steve Claridge? They f***ing did. I saw it with my own eyes. Carra refusing to play right back. Gerrard strolling around the pitch for half of the season, shaking his Tic Tacs because Rafa took off Torres. It was disrespectful to the manager and us, the fans who pay good money to watch them.
  12. Kev - This is another example of why Ant is ridiculed on this forum. Next time you have to ask this question, just look at this post. Ant - The man fought for us. He brought us two massive trophies and our highest points total in 17 years. 4-1 at Old Trafford and 4-0 against Real in the space of a week. He turned down his boyhood club (more than once) when the owners were giving him untold amounts of s***. We f***ed him over after one bad season when, I should add, our 'senior' players (including the scouse ones that you masturbate over) downed tools because they didn't like him. And you can't even show him a basic level of respect. YNWA. I know you do.
