Does it not then? It certainly determines maximum stride length, so presumably his legs will have to take more strides to cover the same distance as someone who is a foot taller than him.

Lovren was a real love/hate relationship type. Did loads of good stuff and loads of awful stuff on the pitch. Didn't keep his mouth shut when he probably should have, and hid under a blanket. That goal against Dortmund though. What a let off.

He also seems to focus a bit too much on stepovers and less on what he's going to do with the ball, but he does have really good close control. -

Lots of energy and running. Switched to the right for a while when Chiesa went off and did ok there. Their right back kept fouling him. Ultimately loads of graft and very little output. He did put one good cross in that someone should have got a touch on. -
It's wild how he can run so fast with half the leg length of every other player.
