Sepp Van Den Berg went to Mainz on loan and then we sold him for £27m as a result. Seems pretty good. Same with Carvalho's loan to Hull. Quansah to Bristol Rovers worked out pretty well.

Was he? I loved him, but I do wonder if we overrated him because he was the first good defender we had in a long line of terrible ones. I think I'd have him in the top 20 maybe.

Terry was dead good. Him, Ferdinand and Campbell are all up there. I always thought that Vidic was overrated though. Kompany, Stam, Carvalho, Desailly, Tony Adams. Those 9 and Virg are probably the top 10. I'd have Virg over all of them, but I'm biased.

Genuinely if I had to guess how many games Naby played for us, I'd guess about 20-30. He seemed to be perma-crocked. Bloody hell, how did he play 129 times for us? -

Big thing to work on with him is his shooting. Needs to bloot a ball a lot harder, but really starting to show everything we hoped for.
