He's great on the ball, and would have a much greater assist stat if those on the end of his crosses and passes had a greater conversion rate. If he plays a more central role, which could very well be the case next season, he'll get more goals. He couldn't even run properly last year, let alone with pace. He has lost a lot of his pace, which I don't believe that he'll get back. Despite this, his recovery has been remarkable, his time on the field unbelievable and his effort outstanding. He turned the Oz WC qualifier on it's head when he came on, and he hasn't looked back since. He is class, and I doubt that Rafa will get rid.... even if he ends up as a classy squadie!
