he always performs better early in the season. just don't think he has a good engine on him and when he gets tired (which he seems to always be) he cant pass, makes made decisions and fouls blatantly. he cant keep up. bench him

the squad is weaker despite the money spent. out Torres, Mereiles, Benayoun (and i dare say, Alonso) in: Suarez, Carroll, Downing, Henderson & Adams (only Suarez is a typical Liverpool player; the rest are mid table mediocrity at best). I haven't read the previous posts, but losing Torres has hurt us doubly. Kuyt was great on the right and is poor up front. I still don't understand why Kuyt wasn't left on the right and Robbie put up front. I believe that we would have been a further 4 points ahead

Alonso is a player I'd like to keep. If he goes back to Spain, he'll be one of those rare players that will play better after they've left us; by giving him just a fraction more time on the ball. I love the roles Masch and Alonso are playing. Give them both some decent wingers, wing backs, and they'll both shine even more keep, keep, keep !!!!!!

Yeah, a lot were hoping for 15m Damian Duff instead of Kewell. That would have been a better investment,eh? Kewell's not lazy; he's carried f***ing injuries which has destroyed his career. Next thing you'll be saying Agger was a waste if money this year as they say...s*** happens. Also, if we were to have tossed him last year, we would have had to compensate the buying club for his wages.

mascherano is more like Makele than Didi. He's not at Didi's level when he was in his prime, but we must remember how old (young!) he is. Masch will undoubtedly be a champion, and if injury free, I believe that he will be better than Makele
