I've been a member of forums such as this and RAWK long before HK came on the scene. I was excited at the possibility of HK and Brett Emerton both playing for us. No fair weather friend here. In pre internet, mobile phone and pay TV times, I even telephoned the club for a result!

Totally disagree. Kewell's faults have been magnified 10 times compared to others. For example, the wastrel comments about his Champions league final performance, for one. This is probably why some of the comments in praise of him have been a bit OTT

I agree 100%, and that's not slagging HK. I rate them both very highly. If we had no flair players, we'd be Bolton Wanderers.

I said HK was poor, but he wasn't the poorest. He was not an "8", but certainly not a "3" IMO.

As I said in the match thread. I'm well in. Luton shook us up. Poor 1st half. Average performances by some on the back of great performances (great wake up call)... and we got the result! Rafa and the team will learn a lot from this. We upped the tempo, put Stevie back in the middle, and we won.
