Well yeah, I was being conciliatory. I can see how that wasn't obvious to be fair. How anyone can look at our midfield - ever since Henderson and Fabinho simultaneously lost the ability to move - and think that there isn't complete lack of physicality is beyond me.

And wasn't a yard dog. Nor were Gerrard or Vieira if we're looking at that era. All of them far more physical in the truest sense than Gravenberch or Szoboszlai - and every bit as good at the actual football.

I think it's a case of you mistaking Gravenberch being tall and lean and Szoboszlai running around a lot for them being physical in the sense that it means for a midfielder to be physical
