It does. Two weirdly contrasting articles on his background have popped up. One from the Echo which suggests he lied about his military background and supports the likes of Andrew Tate and Farage. Another from the BBC saying what a nice fella he is.

Yep. He must have known about that from the outset though, it was his dashcam. It's very strange. Maybe his defence lawyers convinced him it was the easier path.

This guardian article goes into a bit more detail. Basically he was claiming he was scared and that he panicked, the CPS said it was extreme road rage. It sounds like his own dashcam footage proved the CPS's case was correct.

“His driving, even before he reached Dale Street, was aggressive and dangerous and he was seen to undertake vehicles, jump lanes and run through a red light. “Doyle circumvented the traffic system put in place by the event managers, Liverpool City Council, and swore at fans before ploughing into them as they tried to make their way out of Dale Street and Water Street.” Clearly an absolute menace. Good that he’s off the roads and in jail.

The Girl Bands doc on iPlayer is good. Eternal were a bit of a sh*t show, the two sisters were horrible to Louise and Kelle.
