    I agree with Paul that his tactical analysis was/is very good, but he’s become a professional hot take machine and the way he made the Salah stuff about him was embarrassing, I thought. His and Neville’s takeover of football discourse absolutely does my head in, though at least Neville shows a bit of loyalty to his former employers.

    Even if all that was the case (and I'm not saying it isn't) we still could have forced the issue earlier. No one came out of that episode well and it did take the shine off what we all thought at the time was a great window.

    Yeah it's all over the shop and in pretty much every game we've played this season. The jury's out on all the new players until it's sorted, for me.

    The subs thing is comical now. Our shape seems to rely on the same players being on the pitch throughout - as soon as that is altered, all hell breaks loose.
