  1. Hang on, @Boca, there's workshopping afoot.
  2. I’d really hate for us to keep Slot for another year just because we’re not quite as sh*t as Chelsea.

  4. We’ve already got three back up right backs.

  6. That’s ok, Sam. I’m just having thoughts.
  7. I don't think anyone could have predicted what has transpired this season with Mo's decline, Slot's cluelessness, the endless injuries, so of course this is 20/20 hindsight - but we made the decision to move on Diaz and Nunez and made the decision to sign a striker who would need months to get fit. The fact he had started to show a bit, literally in the moment he broke his leg in December, is terrible bad luck and no one's fault, but the whole deal points to some not-very-joined up thinking within the club (including whatever the f*ck is going on with our conditioning team). At least we took Newcastle down with us.
  8. Was daft signing Isak, really. If his fitness was so dependent on having a proper pre-season, we should have just waited till either January or this summer and saved ourselves tens of millions of pounds, plus time wasted. I don't doubt he can be great for us, but the whole saga is a main ingredient in the casserole of sh*te we've been served up every week this season. Whole thing now looks like an exercise in vanity.
  9. People are very strange.
  10. Two wide players, a midfield general and a new manager and we might be ok next season. May need a right back too. Got decent centre back options with Virg, Konate, Jacquet, Leoni (if he can come back fit) and Gomez, presuming he stays for the last year of his contract. Sensei would be a smart signing but I imagine he'd want to be a starter. Wonder who goes? With Mo and Robbo definitely off, you'd think Chiesa and Mac Allister might follow.
  11. This is interesting
  12. There's been a lot of rumours about player unrest, which makes me think/hope the stories about him having unequivocal support from the higher ups are nonsense.

  14. Yeah beat Chelsea and we’re in, I reckon.
  15. Mac Allister has looked very unfit all season. Don’t know whether that‘s due to a lingering injury, his child being born, or his legs just going prematurely. He was fantastic in his first two seasons, it’s a massive shame and a bit of a mystery.
  16. Has anyone played consistently well? Even Szoboszlai, our supposed best performer this season, has frequently been crap. Mac Allister, Gakpo and Konate (up until recently) have had the worst individual seasons I can remember in a Liverpool shirt, but no one is immune from the general malaise surrounding the team.
  17. Just reading about the imminent collapse of LIV Golf, apparently the Saudis are massively curbing their spending. I’m excited to see how miserable this development makes the fans of Newcastle United.

  19. Haha, f*cking hell, I really should know better.

  21. That doesn't answer my question and every Liverpool fan wants that. I'm asking what is prissy or idiotic about giving him the benefit of the doubt in this collectively awful season we're having?
