I've just had a text message out of the blue. It read, "Hi ******, hope you and the kids are all well, we are fine. Just thought you'd like to know, MO is coming home in the summer " I replied, "Hi *****, yes we are great thanks, glad you're all ok. Interesting news, that come form the top?" Reply, "Yep, the very top, is there any other place? Catch up soon, take care, love to the kids." I've not spoken to her (yes it's a she) since last summer. She is very closely connected to the club at the VERY highest level, I can't say any more than that. I'd trust her with my life and if she says this is happening, then barring unforseens I'm sure it will.

We'll play Boro at Greyskull Chelsea will play West Haaaaaaaaaaaam somewhere else.

Unlike most I'd be sad to see Cisse go but it's now inevitable and we look to the future. I think in a team like Spurs they would play to his stregths and he will score plenty for them. Rafa has never wanted to do that and thats fine by me. He knows best. Just can't help feeling a tinge of regret that the real Cisse will never been seen at Liverpool because I'm bloody sure its still there within him. Still, onwards and upwards.

This coming from a poor league stuff is just utter crap. Shevchenko and many others originated in what you therefore describe as poorer leagues. Don't buy it one bit. He has immense qualities and ability. Sadly, I dont think we'll ever see the real Cisse at Liverpool and that is a crying shame because he's got the lot.

Don't follow this. If its a 3 year extension to 2010, that means his current deal was set to expire next year. That can't be right surely.

I'm basing this on nothing but instinct. I've a sneaky feeling we are going for it this summer. If my mates talking about 3 sizeable deals, then I'm going for Kuyt, Owen and a right midfielder of unknown identity. Something tells me we wont be fecking about this summer. Maybe the board feel its needed to hang on to Rafa. I think it is personally. We need to back him to the hilt and I think we will this summer.

Remember in January, the Insurance chap looking at terms on a striker? Well, he had just been told that terms will be requested again for the same player "prior to Germany" Also, they will be asked to place a further two, again prior to Germany. No more info than that. I did say at the end of Jan, from the odd comment, I thought the first was Kuyt; but that's only and educated guess, no more. As for the other two? No idea, but he doesn't deal with the run of the mill stuff so perhaps we are making moves early doors?
