I have a feeling that after a quieter period, PIF are now more interested in growing the Saudi league again rather than banging their heads agianst a brick wall with Newcastle. So long as some form of PSR is in place, it would taken them decades to compete, and that just aint their style.

They have gone on their flagship tour, and not taken their talisman that everyone would wish to meet and see, injured or not. For "brand Newcastle" it's a massive blow him not going, and I doubt a minor injury would stop it in normal circumstances. Something is brewing.
