Riise was still pretty poor to be honest, I think Sami and Riise are worse off when Crouch is in the team as it gives them an excuse to play long balls that are too often off-target.

Kuyt is a capable player, hes not going to beat anyone for pace granted but he can turn a defender and has looked good when hes tried to play people in and he does work his b******s off for the team. The problem lies in our appalling service to our forwards in my eyes, and that hes been played out of position to boot. Everytime hes had the ball wide theres been no-one near him at all and some of the long balls that Riise, Hyypia and even Carra are lacing up the pitch are useless to a player like Kuyt.
