For those that go regularly to away games in Europe. Is it advisable to travel to somewhere like Munich or Valencia without a ticket, in the hope that I can get one on the day, or not worth the hassle? Who has done, does do this successfully / unsuccessfully? Thanks

Vieira wasn't as instrumental at 21 when Arsenal won the double as Petit was. Vieira grew better a year, two years later. I think Momo is more comparable with Makalele than Vieira. Momo does what Maka does, but gets forward more too. He's kind of inbetween what Maka & Vieira does. Yes, he is boss. Yes, he can pass. Garcia gives the ball away more, as does Gerrard, probably.

I think the 'London' factor will be a problem for us for a while yet. Back in the day we attracted the big signings because the big signings were brits & irish, so not a problem. We were the biggest club in Britain and the biggest club interested in said players. Not many of our home nations players were going abroad then. Unfortunately, not too many top quality foreigners will be attracted to us until we win the league, or at least look like really competing for it. Rafa will always have a chance with the Spanish speakers, for obvious reasons, but others might be tough. Even then, the Spanish contingent are usually being chased by Barc or Madrid too, so it'll always be a fight. Need to find level headed players like Alonso, Kuyt. Few and far between those though. we need to be patient, as even with big financial backing, we still might not be able to attract the 'top' players. For example. If Kaka was on the move. What chance would we stand there?...

I'd go for Villa all the way, though like Stevie H, I don't think we'll get either of them. I don't think we'll get Eto'o'o'o'o'o either.

London rags were talking yesterday of how the Hammers could be docked points, as they are unable to find paperwork relating to the 'tango twins' (? bizzare ? ) as they called them. Hammers claiming it was a previous administration so they're not to blame. The way I see it, the PL have a problem with West Ham not us. The deal should be rubber stamped for us, then they can get on with what they need to do re West Ham.

Can I be the first to say that I think the club knows what it is doing. f*** Mansion, f*** Spurs, nobody here knows the details of that deal. Perhaps, just maybe, as part of that deal Spurs have given something big back to Mansion, with the net result looking completely different?!?!?!?
