I agree. Thought he was OK though. The whole England team were pretty crap in the World Cup too, as was Ronaldinho and others. But we know many are better than they played then.

Lots of people moved to Stevenage, Bracknell etc as overspill from, London. Just because those people are from london, doesn't make the likes of Stevenage etc London. Those people are just Londoners living elsewhere. They may be scousers living in Kirkby, brought about by those from Liverpool moving on mass there, but that doesn't mean it's Liverpool surely? That's a fair point Roegahnn. Personally, I'd be gutted if a billionnaire bought our club and just threw stupid money at transfers. I'd rather be mid table than that. People says it business. True, he does do that. But he has played wide left for Holland before. Thing with Kuyt is no matter where he plays, he'll work his socks off. That seems to help him get by quite comfortably in most situations.

Think we need to sort Left Mid first. That will dicate what happens elsewhere. Riise can play left mid, as can Kuyt. If Riise plays there, Carra is most likely to play left back, with Agger centre back with Sami. This leaves Gerrard probably as the holding midfielder with perhaps Garcia in front of him. If Kuyt plays left mid, then I'd play Agger as the holding CM. He'd be great there.

Anyone else think that Bellamy's performances in a Liverpool shirt have been affected by this saga more than we might have considered. In fact, maybe it's affect him more than he realises. Can't be nice having this hanging over you, guilty or not.

There will be more singing when there is more to sing about. I think the level of noise currently from the terraces is down completely to what's happening on the pitch. Our home record is excellent, obviously, but the performances are still a bit hit and miss (sometimes literally). As such fans are watching intently, looking for signs of good play and progress. When ever that happens within a game, the decibels go up. Same with any club I guess, apart from Arsenal, where good football seems to make them quieter

I agree with this and Anny Road. I really thought Bellamy would add that bite up front - real aggression that we've lacked for years. Currently I think Kuyt is the only one in the team with any real fight.
