  1. Lovely quotes from Tsimikas last night... "Representing my dream club, on a Champions League night, as a captain, with a win and some assists serving?! "Little Kostas, we made it happen kid "Never stop dreaming and believing guys. Dreams can come true. I made some of mine come true today and it feels great. "I am so grateful."
  2. I'd try him at right back.
  3. Yeah that was weird, it was so going in. Something not right there.
  4. Breathtaking from the other cheats.
  5. Henry, Pires, Drogba, Crouch
  6. It's a non story isn’t it? Investing loads in the city of Manchester is not anything any mayor would turn down. They're guilty of spending too much money. The PL forbids this, governments and cities don't.
  7. This video takes a while to make some good points, but it is interesting. He thrives on close contact with his own players, think more 5 a side, bouncing the ball off in 1,2s... When he has space and time he is less effective bizarrely. Also, as some mention in the comments, Ekitike played/linked well with him lsst season, and thinking back, they used to get close together and play the 1,2s...
  8. Think he's better with Grav beside him. Hell, we won the league that way ffs. Get Dom ahead of those two again. Grav did incredible things on Sunday... the half turns and driving runs were brilliant.
  9. Yeah. Whether or not it works out is to be seen, but his confidence is on the floor and only he can sort that out. He needs something to spark it. A goal, an assist, a tackle... anything. He's had goals disallowed for offside, scored by him and by others. That's to say he's come close a few times, but to Carragher's point, he needs to look like he's going to score or create a big chance every game, it's the minimum. Right now he doesn't even look like doing that.
  10. You final point here about the team needing balls again is so true. This team has lacked some proper battle for a few years now. Everything is too casual, too tolerant of what's happening around them. Only Macca in this team has some bite left in him.
  11. Not saying you're wrong, but that's a massive shout on Ekitike not being able to return to peak. Hope he can, obvs, but a torn/snapped achilles... just the thought of it.... Maybe AI will help
  12. All their big grins everywhere. I don’t think they've let it settle in yet the seriousness and size of what they've been found guilty of. They're still at the denial stage of grief. "A generation of supporters have been cheated"
  13. It's purely for your benefit But yeah I'm only thinking out loud. I want him to work, as I want all signings to work, but there's got to he something that kick-starts him. Maybe not though. Maybe wrong team, league etc. I think he'll be great somewhere. Might not be us though.
  14. Exactly that. They are a stain, and there is a big cloud hanging over them and the league, but we're not great either. Our starting 11 yesterday was pretty shocking really.
  15. He looks like a rabbit caught in headlights currently, confidence on the floor, not able to influence anything. I'd like to see a Hendo type character behind him, getting in his ear constantly until he gets it and does it himself. Just get stuck in lad.
  16. Keane never said any of that. It's clearly AI.
  17. Quality today, f***ing ref.
  18. Before the game started I had an overwhelming sense of the game shouldn't even be going ahead. Felt like that even more after. Yeah, it's. I think the city fans, players and coaches forgot that for 90 mins today, which is fair enough, but it's coming big time, and they will be reminded over and over.
  19. Hahaha, been thinking about that for a few weeks have you? He was s*** today.
  20. Yeah, was a really poor atmosphere. Can see all the day trippers on the telly.
  21. Fast forward a few month, and I want to see Ekitike, Isak and Barcola making up front 3. All quick, technical, tall. Could be incredible.
  22. Don't have the revenues to be any bigger. The City case, Villa and Newcastle situations.... they'll never be big again until the rules change.
