Yawn. All signings are 50/50. For every gamble that worked like Robbo or Salah, there's a dead cert that fails.
There are literally thousands of footballers around the world. Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth etc prove that. Sure these teams can gamble more perhaps, but they prove it's possible to find talent.
Perhaps we're not signing someone for wide right currently because Elliot, Chiesa, Dom, Frimpong and Rio can all play there...
People get concerned about the wide left being over populated and we don't need more, but it's only Rio and Gakpo that can actually play it properly. We're over populated on the right by comparison.
*I don't see Wirtz or Jones as proper wide options.
