I liked Klopp's press conference after the match. Didn't try and pretend that we were unlucky and he called it how we all saw it - not good enough. No big panic though, this is to be expected etc and the important thing is to understand why it happened. Good to see he behaves consistently whether it be in victory or defeat - I think he instils a great deal of confidence.

I am still angry about yesterday as it was just really obvious what would happen with this line up. Milner, Lucas and Allen should never happen. Not one of them is good enough for us if we want to compete at the top. I think we could possibly get away with one of them alongside a stronger pair, but the three of them together should never happen again. Allen just makes me really angry, he is the definition of 'meh'.

You could see this coming from the off. Lucas has stunk the place out, but a midfield three of Lucas, Milner and Allen is never going to work. I feel really angry about this performance.

I have been pretty relentless in criticising joe Allen, but thought he was very good tonight. Much more positive and on the front foot. Looked for a forward pass more in that appearance than in the whole of the rest of his time here.

Saturday was the first time since he has been here that I have looked at him and really seen the impact he could have. Before this game, he has struck me as a bit of a nothing player - not fast, not clinical, not strong etc. Playing with confidence and with other players who are confident on the ball seems to have made a big difference. Who knows, there could even be hope for Joe Allen at this rate!
