Livid that Newcastle have signed someone I've never heard of. Why weren't we in for him once we got wind of their interest.

It's a pretty big gamble. You can easily imagine him getting injured in October and plenty on here saying that was obviously going to happen and signing him neglecteful.

It might be his physical demeanour/body language. He looks tired and looks nothing like a hard worker let alone a pressing monster. That might just be his game (like I say, I've not seen much of him pre signing for us). I kept thinking he was simply not match fit last season. I'm now trying to work out what sort of player his is. Would seem strange for us to have gone for a low energy type player. Not saying he's looked bad this half, been decent.

I've not watched much of Isak before he came to us, but has he always looked knackered? He's done some good bits so far in this game, but he looks like I'd look after 40 mins. Does he just have a casual/lazy demeanour or are his running stats poor?

The romantic in me would love Mo for another year, but he really was a shadow of his former self last season and I'm not sure that was all down to Slot. I'd imagine his salary off the books presents opportunities.

I feel a bit conflicted. Too many missteps last season make this the right call, but the title winning year brought me so much joy (for a number of reasons) that I don't think I'd have pulled the trigger. Not gutted he's gone, probably a bit relieved, but also a bit sad. I know this goes against majority opinion on here.
