For me the question (particularly after the summer acquisitions) is could another manager get more from these players? I suppose giving him some element of time this season was honourable , perhaps even to make sure following the sale and effect Suarez had on the team. Now we know . I know it's not as clear cut as that but perhaps it was caution through to decision by the owners.
