I'm starting to feel that Rogers is currently more at the assistant manger level, and would benefit working with a more experienced manager (particularly at a large club) for a couple of seasons. After that, I think Rogers would have the potential to be a top class manager, I just don't think he's at the right level right now. Question is how long do you stick with things the way they are..

Using this as an example though, isn't this a weakness of BR? It seems that he has one sytem, one way of playing whether it suits the players or the situation on the pitch, regardless of how effective it is. I've got no problem in a manger having an overall system of play, but what separates the men from the boys is being able to adapt - it's this that worries me about BR, and possibly some of the players....

I think he even started that game in midfield. I remember his interview after that game on MOTD with Des Lynam saying something like 'no guessing where he's from'.

I don't know what I'm more afraid or down about - Carragher retiring now or what the **** will it be like when Stevie makes a similar statement

Fair enough. I guess Ince would be an upgrade then..

I admit I haven't seen a lot of Assaidi, but he seemed to have more about him then Downing for example -despite his more recent form....or have I been subjected to rare glimpses of quality in an otherwise swamp of s***e..?!
