  1. Wayne, I know I haven't but can't really be a***d to argue with you about it.
  2. Well its could to see you have finally decided doing something is better than doing nothing, about time too.
  3. Yes because you have constantly supported protests haven't you, but dont let the truth get in the way of your recent conversion to the protest course just because it has become the popular one.
  4. Look I have nothing against Konchesky, apart fromt he fact I dont believe he is good enough for Liverpool, I hope to be proved wrong. The Finnan reference is so wrong as he was a quality full back.
  5. Sorry Wayne but it must have been a recent conversion for you to have suggested joining in any form of protest, most of last season you were against any form of protest that affected a match.
  6. Like I said picketting the game ,forcing people to boycott the game. Its the same thing, glad to see you have finally decided that action needs to be taken.
  7. What kind of civil disobedience? Picketing a game? Or something else, it has to be about a high profile gesture.
  8. No because Steve Finna was an excellent full back and good enough for us. As for those going on about the foreigner and homegrown rule, behave and actually try and look at the facts.
  9. Things could get worse especially if we all sit by and let it happen, its time to start targetting games to be boycotted/picketed etc. Not an easy one but surely a small sacrifice to try and protect the future of the club.
  10. I cant remember the last time I listened to a Liverpool manager who seems to accept mediocrty as easily as Hodgson does.
  11. He had a decent debut but then again he is a decent mid table type of premiership player really what we are after, nothing against him but I dont see him as a liverpool player if we weren't facing the ownership issues we are.
  12. I'll believe it when I see it happen, I really don't trust any of them and don't trust them to ensure that new owners have the best long term aims for the club.
  13. It wont work as an actual way of disrupting a live game or tv broadcast if it is outside the ground. I'm not a fan of the idea I'm afraid.
  14. I'm not sure why anyone would defend the likes of Broughton and Purslow, clearly the owners have to be the ones to take the vast majority of the blame for the state of the club. Broughton and Purslow are no more interested in doing what is right for the club than those two, they are here to do the banks bidding whether it harms the club long term or not, they are only interested in the short term gain for the banks. Why people can't see that I don't know, its obvious to those who want to see it, as for the various takeovers, I wont get excited about any of them until it actually happens and they prove they aren't G+H mark2.
  15. I cant beleive some of the rubbish i'm reading on here, he has been in charge for what 3 league games and some are already questioning him. He is manager of Liverpool Football club and should be getting our support, I say that as a Rafa fan who didn't want him gone, I wasn't excited at the thought of Roy Hodgson as our manager but the minute he became our manager he got my support. The real issue is that any manager is going to struggle under the ownership of G+H and when you throw Purlow and Broughton in the mix as well. Our anger and frustrations should be directed at them not Roy hodgson. The question of when can you judge him are frankly pathetic, support him and his team, save the attacks for those two idiots and Purslow and broughton who have no interest in doing whats best for the team or club.
  16. 1, N/A 2, Yes 3, Yes 4, Sort of but I dont think a blanket boycott would be sustainable, think it would have to be targetted in conjunction with 3.

  18. You are wrong, he wanted to play regular football and if you are honest he wasn't going to get that if most players stayed fit. Thats why he left but if changing certain facts suits you then fine
  19. Ridiculous post, completely inaccurate, as bad as those by DH and Wayne. Absolute revisionism in the extreme and I should expect better but sadly I don't.
  20. While we have those two as owners, I fail to see anything other than next season being a long disappointing one. The names being linked with the managers post dont feel me with any form of excitement, Roy Hodgson is a decent manager but really hasn't done anything to make me think he will turn things around, as for Kenny, I hope he doesn't get it as I would hate to see his status as a legend damaged in anyway. There is a real risk that would happen as I dont see any manager making a success of the job under our current owners and board. I really want to be proven wrong but I dont see us getitng the type of manager we deserve, I beleive we will get a manager who might at absolute best case scenario compete for a top four place. I certainly don't see them being able to get us putting a serious title challenge together. Maybe I'm wrong and as some on here will try and have you believe we are still a club that even under the current owners/administration will have the top managers queueing up to come here, but I just dont see it.

  22. I think you are spot on, why would we want players like that at the club, unfortunately there are some on here who despite the ownership issue seem to think if they ignore it, everything will be alright, which it wont.
  23. I dont understand why people are being so sensitive about it. Its part of the whole South African World Cup experience, who are we to tell South Africans how to support a World cup. I can honestly say it hasn't spoilt one game for me, some of the commentators are far more annoying.
