You dont need to understand his thinking behind any decision he makes, just accept he will get it right.

If we have a run of defeats, it doesn't guarantee he gets sacked but does guarantee we would be right in the middle of a relegation battle. Jesus its New Years eve and I cant believe I'm actually having to write about the possibility of us being involved in a relegation battle, I can't hate anyone more than I hate him but I still want us to win, as the thought of us being in a relegation battle is too depressing.

The situation we are in then why not bring Kenny in as caretaker until the end of the season? He will bring a boost to the club and he will be an improvment on Hodgson. So what if we have a manager lined up for the summer and Kenny does a fantastic job then the owners would have a difficult decision but one I would like them to have to face.

As much as I hate him, I don't want us to lose, unfortunately i think we will. I can kind of understand why some people want us to lose, the problem is that a defeat doesn't guarantee that he will be sacked and the other being we are only three points above the relegation zone, we need every point we can get. Yes and I do realise that with him in charge it reduces our chances of getting the points required but I still can't bring myself to want us to lose.

He has to go and go now, the man is an embarrassment, he thinks the first half was good, ffs apart from the first 10 minutes we were awful. Anyone supporting him should start not only look at following a different team but a different sport as well.

You really are deluded in your defence of roy, he is a disaster for the club but if you are prepared to accept where we will end up under him then more fool you, I pity your lack of ambition.

To me the worst mistake was when ngog went off why bring on Aurelio, we then sat back and took away any threat we had. In a pressure situation Roy reverts to type, yes it was a better performance but things aren't going to get better long term, certainly not to what we should be expecting. Anyone thinks he can take this club to where it should be is sadly deluding themselves.

How can you or anyone support a manager who is damaging our club, he is clearly out of his depth. You berated our last manager who actually had won us trophies and actually got us, yet defend a manager who has done nothing but embarrass the club and certainly doesn't get us, your attitude is bizzarre.

If Roy is left in charge it will be a season of mediocrity with the occassional highlight such as Sunday. He really has to go, he simply isn't good enough.

You may see them as very close but I don't, Rafa was clearly the better manager and he didn't takes us to the fringes of the Title challenge, the season we finished runner up under Rafa, we were in the middle of the title challenge, not merely on the fringes as you suggest. This isn't to belittle anything GH achieved but just to say I believe Rafa was the better manager and his inability to take us to the title should only properly be judged against the background of the lack of financial support he received in the last two or three tranfer windows, particularly the one in the summer following us finishing as runners up.

But at no point were we in the bottom three, in fact 7th was seen as a massive under achievement. Your support of Roy is wierd and bizzarre to be honest.

Get rid, he isn't good enough and quite frankly is an embarrassment to the club.

Why not just say what you think you know, rather than just dropping a hint? Unless of course you don't know anything but just like to come across as somebody who does.

All kidding aside, I was and still am a rafa fan but I don't want him back, not because he isn't good enough but I'm a great believer in the old adage of never go back, hence why I wouldn't want Kenny back as manager either. But what does...........mean, whenever I do that, I'm not sure what it means

It seems to be good news but far too early to celebrate yet, to be honest only time will tell if they are going to be the type of responsible owners we want. Having said that I do feel more cheerful about our future this morning.

To be fair Wayne, you were saying last season that just about anyone but Rafa would be able to make this squad competitive and that there would be plenty of managers dying to come and manage us, yet we end up with Roy.
