Unfortunately most of the threads rapidly turn into pretty much the same posters having a pop at Rafa/each other etc and it has become increasingly tiresome. Especially on threads when you think it shouldn't or couldn't happen, so many of the threads have become an extension argument wise of each other. Will a winning streak help, I hope so but I think some posters may have become to entrenched in their views to publicly change their opinion.

I'm please Babel has spoken out, I wish more players would do so. Its a pity the thread has turned into yet another one about who is to blame Rafa or the owners, when really its a bit irrelevant as while the club is in the hands of those two, we will struggle on the pitch. A new manager might or might not see an improvement in results in the short term but in the mid to longer term we are completely knackered with this pair in charge. If anyone thinks that by changing our manager is the fix to our problems then they are deluding themselves, the biggest issue is the owners, the rest really is window dressing.

If he starts to be evasive in his answers, simply ask him Why is he being so evasive and treating supporters with the same contempt as Tom Hicks Jnr? If he wont give an actual answer, just say, "As your failure to give a direct answer proves that you are prepared to treat the fans with the same contempt as him, will you be resiging as well? If he wont answer these two questions, just keep repeating them and anyother questions he wont answer properly, until either he a, answers them (very unlikely) or b, walks out (more likely) which will demonstrate the contempt him and the other senior managers and owners have for the supporters.

That would be about as worth while as some of andy's polls

Are you really as stupid as you are making yourself to be here? Go back and read the original post about comparitive squad values against club spends. I'll give you a clue it wasn't about comparing the value of our squad then to now but about the value of the squad Rafa took over to those of the teams he was competing against and accepting he would have to spend more to acheive parity.

As normal when you cant actually address a popint you try and insult, why not try and discuss a point rather than try and ridicule or patronise? Its particularly sad as you have moaned about people not responding to the post but to the poster, why not answer the points I've raised rather than just answer with a question, or is that all you are capable of?

Do you actually read anyones threads or just spout insults, or are they meant to be witty oneliners? To help you out, I said earlier that to actually judge the success of Rafa's transfers you have to accept where his starting point was in relation to the strength of the squad he took over to the other team's squads he was competing against. Plus accepting that as their squads were stronger they are more likely to sell their surplus players for more than we could, hence affecting their net spend. That was ignored not addressed, unless you and Wayne etc think are squad in the summer of 2004 when Rafa took was as good as likes of Chelsea and the Mancs.

If you cant or wont see the fact that your argument is based on the use of selective facts then its you who is being stupid. I used to think you had some valid views but lately you seem unable to even accept anyone might have a valid opposing view point, its a shame really. Do you accept or not accept that the likes of Chelsea and Man Utd had a better squad than us when Rafa took over and therefore would have to spend less to improve their squads and as a consequence be able to sell their surplus players for more? The impact on the net speands should become obvious, even to you.
