  1. Is that the one just by paradise st? I miss 'proper' sports shops, where you could buy dubbin and linseed oil for your bat and football studs loose. Rather than the latest chav gear for wearing while you get your asbo.
  2. Why doe he act like a classless k****ead at the AGM then? What sets our club apart from every other is a bit of dignity, decorum and nobility by how we conduct ourselves. Yes. its old fashioned in the modern era, but its part of what Shanks, Peter Robinson et al instilled. Morgan has already proved with his behavior he puts himnself before the club, his use of the media and behaviour has been nothing short of degrading. Am with RP and Fyds on this, it will be the end of LFC as we know it if he gets control, it'll be a circus and I don't think I could bear to watch.

  10. Too much heading during his career. Absolute nonsense. Will enjoy shoving that back down his throat in May.

  12. Anyone know when the new plans will be unveiled, for the copy of the Kop etc. Sounds like it has been significantly redesigned.

  15. Who is the 'ideas man' at our club? There's very little been done over the last 10 years in terms of marketing, ticket sales etc. We need someone who is a fan, and has a proven track record for being creative in this kind of area. The Krafts would have been perfect, the septics are way better at that kind of thing. While its 'commercial', its actually really useful to the average fan, and brings more revenue for the club. Totally agree with you Kev, it needs sorting, its a bit of a 70's shambles to be honest.

  17. Great about having a 'Kop End'. That's just the kind of sensitivity I'd expect from our board, keeping the traditions going. Re the acoustics: Christ, can you imagine the noise levels at a game like the Chelsea semi final? It'll scare the s**** out of our opponents. RE: the capacity. I hope we build in some kind of potential for expansion. It would be short sighted not to. If the regenergation of the anfield area is a success, local businesses etc will be in support. The idea at the arsenal stadium is to get people in for the game, then keep them there in the bars long after the game has finished (bet it won't stop feckers leaving 5 mins before the end...). I'd like to see the same approach at Anfield, its a money spinner, and it'll create a whole new area of Liverpool if it is done well.
  18. I remember making a similar post years back when the new ground was first mentioned. There's massive potential here to get youngsters and those who are priced out of modern football in, by making a bigger ground and having an infrastructure to support the vision. Its completely in line with the Shankly vision, would be revolutionary in terms of modern football, and would attract more people to the club. It does require a bit of vision, but I'd love to se it happen.

  24. I'll never forget that goal in Istanbul. His injuries were so frustrating, but he came good just when it mattered, in his last game!
