  1. I saw that a couple of weeks back and it its growing even larger as a possibility.
  2. Roared laughing at that. Ferguson is undoubtedly s***ting it. He should be focused on his own game not Rafa. What is disgusting is it's a personal attack, based on nothing whatsoever. I hope the press show it for what it is, but with their track record I doubt it.
  3. f***ing gutted, but we the defending at corners was suicidal and with Chelsea in that mood it could have been worse. Never say never, but its a f***ing mountain to climb at their place. No Terry might help though.
  4. A bigger c***sucker you would struggle to find. Sickeningly biased. He's ruining it for me actually. Chelsea are closing us down really well, no one getting any time on the ball. I think they are doing that better to us than we are to them unfortunately. Was hoping we'd get another at 1-0 and run riot. It's going to be tight second half, hope we can score another at least.
  5. Yeah I agree. Although now Rafa's deal is sorted there's less pressure. The players are all used to playing under the kind of scrutiny G+H needlessly put us under. I think we can cope even if they do start acting up before the season's end.
  6. Almost as much as I like the 'shoving the drowning man's head under' one from after Sunday. One of the thing's I love about Rafa is he always speaks from the right place, by that I mean he's as truthful as possible. He nearly always takes the moral high ground, with a bit of comedy thrown in for good measure. It must be driving Slur purple with rage.
  7. It's good in so far as it pushes Hicks to the precipice, I can't see the banks doing anything other than screwing him and screwing him hard. That's only good for LFC as long as there is a buyer. He's been playing the 'maybe the markets will turn around' card for 12 months, and despite advice to the contrary dug his heels in on price to the point where his back is up against the wall. I'm expecting a quick deal before the end of the season if he's sensible, he'll still make a good profit. If he continues with the hardball, it'll be July and someone will walk in and get us for the price of the debt plus a pound I'd reckon. Not sure how it affects Gilett's position if he sells Montreal. I suspect he's been trying to f*** Hicks since they fell out, and if he hangs on to LFC till the last moment he might get the chance to bend him over, albeit at the expense of a profit for himself. Again a quick deal asap would be a better option on the surface of things.
  8. Do you mean it makes us less attractive to a buyer? I get what you are saying, but we can't be attractive at the minute on the basis that H&G are deluded in their view of what we are worth. Am hoping that as the noose starts to tighten, they'll wise up on that score as well. If you are talking about our transfer power in the summer, then yes, that does concern me a bit, but I'd take a summer of no strengthening to ge the pair of them out.
  9. They are leaving it pretty late to start selling assets in time for July. All this points to the banks saying 'significantly up your personal asset share to secure a new loan, or f*** off'. Here's hoping there's no takers for their other franchises.
  10. Reira Reina Gerrard
  11. He charged over to the ref aggressively afterwards pointing. Thought he was going to whack him to be honest. Wasn't quite as bad as Mascherano losing it last year, but then Masch hadn't done anything. Rooney knew he was guilty of acting the c***, Slur trying to pretend otherwise was just laughable.

  14. I thought Sami's first game was vs Watford. We got beat 1-0 Mooney scored for them in front of the Kop.

    Reina

He's the best keeper I've seen at Liverpool. Never thought I'd see a better one than Clem.
  16. Christ the referee actually treated them like the petulant aggressive niggly f*****s they are. They look wobbly at the back, Rafa's tactical tip sheet seems to be working wonders.
  17. That has to be up there for post of the year.
  18. He was pissed. Easily done.
  19. I can remember Barnes being jeered if not booed. For all his talent, he could drift out of games and be out on the wing contributing f*** all. In fact I remember coming back from the title decider with Arsenal in 89 fuming with him. He could be frustrating as well as genius.
  20. Trying to smear any achievement now. He's s***ting himself. I would love it, love it if we beat them now. Rafa's got him on the run.
  21. Bullard just seems into his fishing. Am no fan of Beckham's fashionista side but otherwise he seems like his heart is in the right place. f***ed Ferguson off at the least.
  22. I thought Carra was his bezzie just about. The problem with English players, apart from ours, is they are pretty much all c**** to a man. I can hardly think of any I can stand. I don't mind Jimmy Bullard and Scholes, both good hard working professionals. After that I'm struggling. Oh Crouchy is alright as well I suppose.
  23. Caught 5live about 7pm, Lawrenson was on saying he thinks there's something going on with the ownership. He based this on the fact that 3 weeks ago Rafa wasn't signing despite getting his own way, and that he was waiting for some kind of confirmation re the ownership. I wonder if it was to do with a bare minimum transfer kitty each season? Hicks mentioned on the interview that they were looking to get top people 'in from UK business as well as football', and Barry Chuckle was speculating as to whether this was a hint at someone UK based coming in with money. Hasn't Branson been mentioned before somewhere? Hicks was even less convincing with regard to the relationship with Gilett. Worth tracking down if you can get a hold of it. Ballague sugggested something has changed in the last couple of weeks as well.
  24. You make a good point, but it depends on your definition of 'objectivity'. And I take your point about Moores as well. And while I accept your point about football being a business, in reality its a lot more than that to a lot of us, not just supporters, but the people of Liverpool, the City, we have a responsibility to ensure our club is guided wisely, and that it isn't asset stripped. You seem ready to roll over for Hicks or the money men, and I don't think instinctively a lot of us are prepared to do that.
