A guy behind me was talking about how putting on Hamann couldn't possibly change anything. Poor fecker probably didn't watch the Champions League final.
-
I just knew we would miss the pen, so I'm glad Fowler didn't take it. I'm glad our captain steps up and takes responsibility in these situations.
-
Gerrard for me and Finnan a close second.

I really want to win the CL again but if you're aksing which of these three games I'd rather with it's definately the manc game. Losing ot Benfica in the first leg won't mean we can't go through and losing to Arsenal won't mean we can't finish second.

Play them on Saturday. Play them all!

I had never even heard his name when we were linked so was very underwhelmed. Just goes to show that "big names" isn't everything. Can't see him leaving Valencia either, but he's a player I would love to have here. Lethal finisher, just what we need.

We can't afford Rooney.

I really like what I've seen of David Villa. Great goalscorer and we've shows interest in him before. He'll probably be rather expensive now though. And that Diego Milito of Zaragoza looks quite useful. Only seen him twice though.

How has he done this year?

Very happy with Reina, Sissoko, Fowler and Agger. Crouch looks to be a decent signing. Still not decided on Kromkamp and Zenden.

Already paid about £100 for planetickes but no luck with match tickets yet. Can't get through on the phone.

He was outstanding for Udinese and is now doing really well for Fiorentina. I think his failure in the prem says more about Everton than it does about Krøldrup.

Luckily Bent would soften his blow as he would've been there for ages.

Because he scored twice in one game for us. Strikers like that are not welcome here.
-
That's because you didn't count the one near the end where he won it, lost it and then won it again immediately afterwards. It coutns as two even though it was practically the same incident.

Don't think Momo did too badly today. His shooting was abysmal (esepcially for a former striker ) but without his work and ball winning in midfield I think Chalrton would have hit us on the counter more times than they did.
-
Yea, what's up with that? The "he used to be a striker" myth is obviously a hoax. Played well today though. I kept track all through the game and he won the ball in midfield exactly 105,085 times.
