    We were linked with Laimer on a free before he went to Bayern. He mostly played in midfield for Leipzig so he’s very versatile. Diomande looks like then next big thing.

    Wirtz and Salah have worked the same opening five times now but Salah keeps wasting it. Any other season for us and he kills them with that kind of space.

    The Smith Rowe miss was the big moment. If that goes in, we probably drop points as we looked gassed. Ended up feeling quite comfortable in the end imo.

    Good stuff from Wirtz and Frimpong. Weird that we rarely have midfielders arriving in that area of the box. Same against PSG from a similar cross.

    Big game. Coming into this off the back of three straight defeats, with PSG and Everton away next. Lose here, and it starts to feel like free fall.

    Not surprising but I’m still gutted. A Liverpool legend and the best left back I’ve seen play for us. Love his attitude. Hope we have some proper leaders lined up for the summer. This squad desperately needs it.
