  2. 1-0 is as good as 10-0 to united. the good thing is they'll be over-confident for the semis.. although whoever they play are bloody awful!
  3. Scousers are very insular, let's not forget that.
  4. Personally, I think Benitez is looking for an excuse to leave. Everything points to him building up to blaming someone else, he did it last March before changing his mind!
  5. I'm sure I just said that.
  6. He's out for six weeks.
  7. Lad I work with reckons liverpool fans should just "get over it". no prizes for guessing who he supports
  8. Not sure what game you saw, but spin it around. If Barcelona were Liverpool, we'd be absolutely hammering ourselves. Liverpool easily deserved to win over the two legs and, the first 15 minutes of the first leg apart, were rarely troubled over any lengthy period of time.

    Ferguson

I'm not sure Ferguson did it, but David Dein definitely did in the Carling Cup game.

    Parry:

What about season ticket holders who quite like the seat where they are now and would like an equivalent one in the new stadium? How is that going to get sorted? I can see there being a major problem there.
  11. Andy Gray was doing my head in all night. And he was doing it all through the Arsenal v Chelsea game on Sunday. I'm glad that Arsenal have lost both games, they were just taking the piddle with their team selection.

    The RTK

The whole RTK thing is well-meaning but very, very badly executed.
  13. United City United Chelsea
  14. Hands up anyone who thinks this is funny?! I think it is great stuff. It merely shows we have a good team spirit.
  15. I'm sure the Sundays will go to town on it tomorrow though.
  16. They weren't on .tv first though.
  17. You open up a can of worms as to what the individual regards as being justice or not. For example, the man who runs down a girl accidentally in the street and gets four years in jail for dangerous driving, that might be seen as probably justice to me and you but not to the girl's family as you can't replace a life for a life. The victims of Heysel at least got some sense of justice as something was seen to be done to punish the miscreants (punishments already stated) and nobody is left in any doubt as to who was to blame for what happened. At Hillsborough, though, the relevant people haven't been held responsible, leading to an inevitable consequence over time of ill-informed people jumping to the wrong conclusions as to whose fault it was. Hence the justice for the 96 campaign - if things had been handled properly at the time there wouldn't be all this still going on. The people I feel sorry for most of all are the families who lost people in the disaster and who don't court the publicity and just want it all to go away so they can get on with their lives. Each year someone else regurgitates Mackenzie's nonsense, it's another reminder that they didn't want of something that didn't happen in the manner more and more people wrongly think it did.
  18. The 39 did get justice. Maybe he'd forgotten about that. As had the Everton fans.

    Kuyt

We've lost two league games in three months. Grow up.
  20. We supplied two of the players who missed penalties at the last World Cup! What more can we do?!?!
  21. I agree 100% with this comment.
  22. I really hope this catches on!

You don't because you weren't there at the time, well not consciously anyway. That's not belittling you, it's just a fact. Most of the people in the Everton end on Saturday who were singing 'Justice for the 39' were probably your age or less.

How old are you, out of interest?

I'd never thought of it that way, but you're right. I'd steer clear of Everton forums if I were you. I've just had a peek at a few, and you'd have thought they had won the European Cup (which of course they haven't). They are very upset with the Benitez comments though, even though their own manager said more or less the same thing on Saturday morning. A goalless draw happened because one team didn't want to play and the other team forgot how to play. Simple as that. Incidentally, anyone who knows a blue will know they've been singing the Gerrard and Murderers song at almost every away game this season (and a few home ones) but the Justice one is a new one.
