Anyone who can tell me how much we can spend if we are to follow Financial Fair Play. We had a net spend of aproximately 40-45 mill last summer, and without CL money I don't think we can spend that much if not the shirt-deal can "save us".

I hope we sign neither of them but splash the cash on one super player (Lucas Moura). We don't need decent squadplayers but a couple of players who are close to SG and LS' level

I am hoping for two top top players in the next two windows. Not 3-4 pIayers who can become good and would cost 10-12 mill (Sinclair etc.) First of all I would really like a top CM, like Moderic, who is mobile and superb on the ball. One possibillity is Ever Banega who I think would be fantastic together with Stevie and Spearing(and Henderson/Adam) for the rest of the season, and together with Lucas and Stevie next season. Banega can also play as a DM and has been the best CM in the Spanish league (excluding Real and Barca-players) this season. A signing of Banega would make us an much better passing side. Secondly I am dreaming of a world class wide player (Lucas Moura, Hazard etc) although I doubt we are willing to use 30-35 mill on another player. I think we all can forget Hazard but I still have a slight hope we can pick up Lucas Moura. I have have a feeling that Carroll can be a hit in the second part of the season when Stevie is back and playing as a lone striker (if Luis will be out for 8 games). I agree that we still need a new center forward, but I would prefer the CM and wide attacking player before we pick up a striker.

A draw is the best result for us IMO. It is so annoying that we didn't win yesterday. Watching one or two of our contenders for the 4th dropping points today would be so much better.

I agree that he is a bit mental, but I do not think he is softer than Xabi. He likes a tackle and are more mobile than our beloved Xabi. Would cost 15-18 mill IMO.

He has been outstanding. One of the top performers in La Liga this season. Have been injured the last 14 days (knee). I see that some of the posters here are laughing when Banega has been suggested as a replacement for Lucas because he would not fit in the PL. I disagree. I think he would be a top player here and just what we need. He is aggressive with fantastic technique and is a superb passer. He has played as a holding midfield player many times and could deputise for Lucas. He would also slot in well together with Lucas when he is back from injury. I am hoping we can afford a player like Banega - a top young player who could improve as from day one.

Really sad to see Lucas out for months. He has been awsome for us the last 12 months. While we are waiting for him to come back I hope we can buy a young and already proven CM who can play both DM and more attacking. Whar about Ever Banega of Valencia. Fantastic player who can do a great job as DM and who can play with Lucas when he is back. Can we splash 15-20 mill on another central midfielder??
