Anyone following German football on here? After hearing we had scouts at Borussia-Bayern I took a look at the line ups. christoph Kramer, a 22 year old central midfielder/DM, seems to be performing really well. Did great against Bayern as well. Maybe a player for us? Thoughts?

Fredy Guarin, one of the best midfielders around, in talks with Man U and Spurs according to some tabloids. We should be in for him although he turns 28 in the summer. Superb box to box player

I agree Hendo was excellent but I am not sure about Hendo/SG as the only two CM in the XI. Defenitely need another in there against strong opponents. Although Hendo was good defensively the pair of them were not good when Palace attacked IMO.

Ageee 100%. We need a quality central midfielder. Our only available CM today were SG and JH. If one of them had been injured in training this week we would be in big trouble. I dream of Fredy Gurian of Inter. Superb player but I guess to old (27 in the summer) and to costly (15-18 mill)

The Mancs are looking to bring in Danielle De Rossi on loan according to some Sunday papers. That would be some player for us. Would strengthen our central midfield massively, but I guess FSG would say no because of hos age

Reina has conceeded two goals allready in the frist half against Chievo - both errors !!

Madness if we do not strengthen our Central/defensive midfield. With Allen out we have just 3 left. If one of SG, Lucas or Hendo get injured our entire season may become a big failure. No midfield-subs om the bench on Sunday now :-(

Agree CB is a must, but we defenitely need a CM also. Just left with SG, Lucas and Hendo now. We will not have s proper CM om the bench om Sunday!!

If I was Brendan, and luckily for you I an not, I would prefer additions in the following order: 1) Central defender (Sakho?) 2) Central midfielder (Kondobia, Guilavogui??) 3) Attacking midfielder (??) It is obvious se need a new CD, but I think it is just as obvious (although I don't think Brendan ser it that way that se need strengthening CM/DM. I fear our season can be a failure yet again if Lucas get injured or struggle to gain the form of 2011. I don't like the partnership of Lucas/Gerrard either, specially not against the top teams. Get Kodobia or Guilavogui in!

This is why I think it is very strange that BR has stated that he is looking for a new player front left (and not front right). Atm we have Coutinho, Sterling, Ibe and Alberto who all can play front left (Sterling and Ibe can of course also play front right but are better left). On the right side we have nobody maybe apart from Aspas. Going for Lamela (25-30 mill who is a bigger goalthreat) looks way better IMO
