I am 100% with you on Kante. Superb player who would fit well in with Can. Unfortunately I think Jurgen will go for Piotr Zielinski. I can not understand that. In 90% of our games under Klopp we have only used 2 CM. Zielinski may be good but he always plays on the right in a 3-man midfield. Kante or Dahoud would be perfect IMO. Then use the rest on a top attacking player, left back and a goalie (and maybe a CD because of Sakos absense)

I agree on this. We need addition in CM but it is interesting to see that we (with exception of Xhaka who will move to Arsenal or City) only have been linked to "runners" who play in the same potition as Hendo, Allen, and Milner (Dahoud and Zielinski (spelling?)). I think we rather should look at a top player in the pivot role where we only have Lucas and Can.

I think Danny deserves a lot of credit for the way he handled beeing left out of the starting Xl in a huge match like this. He has been our star striker but did not sulk. Was positive when he came on and his smartness created goal no 4.

Agree 100% A little bit worrying is that @jay_78_ (Spion Klopp) on twitter, who from time to time get legit info, some days ago stated that Studge will be gone in the summer.

What makes It hard is that we were in pole position - Alli is a Liverpool fan and wanted to join us. We stalled on some minor things. 8 months later he is a big star who together with Kane may bring the PL-trophy to WHL

Don't think the Suarez fee is an issue. I much more pissed that the club f***ed up the Dele Alli-negotiation. I feel sick every time I think about that - unbelieveble poor from the club

I think it is obvious Klopp is looking for a DM. It has gone quiet on Camacho, who we have been linked to, but he might be a candidate. Has anybody watched him so you could share your view on him (Maldini, others?)

A wild guess is that Hendo will continue (if he is still at the club) and our new DM (if it is Xhaka or Camacho) will take over as vice captain.

I am a bit slow, as you know, but why is it so obvious that Xhaka will not join us? Lack of CL?

I have just seen glimpses of Camacho, the DM from Malaga whom we have been linked to. I decided to have a look at him against Real Betis. I watched only the first 75 min but IMO he didn't really stand out as a player who would improve us significantly. That said he ended up scoring a late winner, and was MoM with 8.7 (i think) rating on whoscored.com. For me he looked a bit kick and run, not very composed on the ball, but a tough player who did not hide and who won a lot of headers. IMO he looked slow and not good enough on the ball to be an improvement on Lucas/ Can. I may be wrong. Anyone who have watched him more who could share their view?? It lookes like Klopp def is after a DM. I fear Xhaka will go elsewhere and we have been strongly linked to Camacho.

I have wanted a new dominant DM for many years now (I thougt Lucas was brilliant til he got injured vs Chelsea some seasons ago). Can has bags of potential but I have thougt he still needed 1-2 years to reach a constant high level. But in the last 4 games he has been brilliant (he will have a stinker today after this). I am now not sure if we need to use 35 mill on Xhaka or whatever. Maybe we should use 20-25 mill on a Gundogan-type of player - very mobile, creative - to play WITH Can and not instead of him. Thoughts?

It seems as Klopp are aften one DM/CM (Xhaka or Camacho). We are also strongly linked to Zielinski, who is another midfielder. That surely means that 1-2 midfielders have to leave. Texeira (Bosman) may count as one but I struggle to see who the other will be. Grujic will also arrive

I think and hope a new DM is a priority for next season. We have been linked to both Xhaka, who may be very expensive (30-40 mill?), and Camacho, who we may only pay 6-7 mill for. I would appreciate to hear who you folks, who follows both spanish and german football, prefer? Is there a big gap i quality between them?

Agree - would be fantastic. I am all for using all our transfermoney on 3 players. We can only dream...

I know he is just 22 (and i think he will be great in 2-3 years time) but at the moment he is not good enough to play DM in our best XI. Very slow on the ball and make strange decisions
