I am a big fan of Sahin and wanted him as a partner for Lucas before Allen became a target for us. Although I still would lite to see Sahin in our XI there is two major issues against it if look away from rotation. 1) Were are we going to play europes best midfielder (Stevie G)? 2) The Lucas/Allen/Sahin-combination lack goals!!

According to Liverpool.no we played Rochdale in a friendly today. Winning 2-1 when the game was called off because of a serious injury to one of the Rochdale players. Line up: Pepe, Johnson, Kelly, Agger, Robinson, Lucas, Adam, Shelvey, Eccleston, Carroll, Pacheco. Goals: Johnson, Eccleston

Maybe old news but according to South Wales Evening News Joe Allen has agreed personel terms with us after Swansea gave us permittion to talk to him. Swansea are still to respond to our last offer believed to be 12,5 plus a season long lone deal for one of our players (Shelvey?)

I really rate Sahin and think he would be brilliant for us. IMO he could deputise for Lucas as well although he is not a great tackler. Go and get him Brendan !!

Have been away today. This morning there were talks about AVB, Klopp and others. Now it is Martinez, Lambert and Rogers. Can anyone please tell me why this change of target? I will be livid if we go for one of the last three.

I am by far no expert but have seen him on telly some matches this season. Was very very impressed first time and have since then tried to see him in as many matches as possible. I may be biased but think he is the real thing. Quite similar style as Hazard. Not a classic winger but can play right, left and center. Has mainly played in the hole behind Giroud. Is right-footed, very good one on one, can open up defences, and good in front of goal. A very confident player. On the downside he might be a bit mental and not the most displined player.

I would be very happy if we get Belhanda. In a year or two he will be worth 30-35 mill. A massiv talent who would go straight in and improve our first XI. I assume that people who say they have not heard about him is joking. Everybody is talking about him in France. Sadly I guess that Arsenal, PSG, Bayern or any other CL-club will snatch him in front of our nose.

I think we can forget Falcao. First of all I think he will look for a CL team. Secondly he will cost about 50 mill. There is no way we will use that amount on one player. Saying that if we had 60 mill available I would rather spend that amount on two players if they were the right ones, rather than on 5-6 players. If we could attract two super players like Suarez we would definitly compete for the 3rd and 4th place next season.

There is a lot of good players out there but I really hope we are aiming for hungry players with pace, movement and technique. If we get the right players I think the team will click and see us play some fantastic football next season.

Can someone please briefly explain me how the Financial Fair Play work? I have heard the clubs are allowed to use the total amount of 30 mill in three years (2011-2013??) in addition to profit. If you count our transfers last summer i doubt the owners can throw much money at us this summer. I guess no more than 20 mill. Any thoughts?

Where do the 50 mill rumours come from? I would be very happy if we have 30 mill plus sales to use this summer. I doubt very much that our net spend would be more than 25-30 mill. Don't think we are allowed to use more due to Financial Fair Play

Agree on that. Get in a top class CM to play alongside Lucas (and who can fill Lucas' role until he is 100%), a superb wide left attacking player (Ramirez??) and play SG on the right.

I would be disapointed if City sign Belhanda. He would be ace for us, and together with Gaston Ramirez the type of signings we should look for. At the moment we can not attract players like Hazard, J Martinez and Higuain, but the Belhandas and Ramirez' will probably be just as good in a years time or so.

f*** off lads. We have outplayed Chelsea and the first you do is to post things like you do. Surely some of our signings have been poor. Some might go in the summer but you should be proud of beeing red. We are mobbing in the right direction.
