    I still think in front of momo and xabi, with a forward we have now, like kuyt up on his own, it's a lot more suited to Gerrard doing the role, similar to Aimars at his valencia, that we suspected Rafa saw him in. he can get to roam out wide more and also still use his drive through the centre without leaving us exposed on the wing

    sinister indeed, just what is he trying to achieve? what are his ultimate long term aims? how far does is he really prepared to go to satisfy his bloodthirsty cravings for almost limitless power?

    I totally agree, and rightly so. but if I had to pick what I would consider a theoretical strongest 11, i think that'd be it.

    Gerrard behind lone striker Kuyt. keep pennant and Gonzales/Aurelio in the 11.

    Thats the one, was kicking up clumps of grass, but very little forward motion achieved. Looked like triple jump on the spot.
