We chanted Fowlers name on his return to Anfield. He screwed the club in a variety of ways, yet was welcomed back as a hero. The booing was smalltime, the chants were amusing, but it should've been left there, unless everybody genuinely feels he wouldn't improve this squad.

Yes, plenty of end product these days, scored important goals whenever he's been given his chance, he's a good crosser and can get past defenders into the box, think he's far more focussed than cole was back then.

I don't understand this debate, at all. The player hits it, the keeper attempts to save, and it crosses the line. That is not an own goal, that is just a failed attempt to save, no matter how much contact the keeper has, unless he has it fully under his control and THEN it goes in the net......as long as the ball came from an opposing player it should always stand. f***ing ridiculous this.

we need somebody as we only have mellor and baros, its entirely possible that baros hamstring might go again. it could happen next week for all we know. this season is a joke now and i dont think that losing the spine of your team to injuries is a bad excuse.
