What injury did he have ? Can't remember him being injured. That may explain his lack of sharpness but the one thing that really concerns me is he seems to have lost a yard of pace.

There is another reason that we should hope Arsenal don't win this year. If they win and finish outside the top four in the league then the fourth placed team will lose it's place in next season's Champions league. Hopefully this won't affect us but the way we are playing lately, you never know.

So let's drop Finnan, our most consistant defender this season, and play a new system with two players at the back that are unproven in the Premiership. Added to the fact that we have one of the best defensive records in the league I really don't see the benefit.

Tylsley came up with one of the most idiotic and infuriating pieces of commentary I have heard last night. Something like : "So David, if you could go back two weeks before this tie started and if Chelsea didn't have Del Horno sent off, do you think Chelsea have enough to beat this Barcelona team ?" How this muppet gets a job is beyond me.
