It's a joke that his "advisors" are saying someone should have stopped him from gambling. Now that the debt has gotten large Rooney reverts to the stereotypical premiership footballer who thinks he can away with anything and refuses to pay. f***ing pathetic.

Don't the FA have some regulation regarding the nets ? I think they have to be white because otherwise it affects the view from behind the goals. Thought I read about that somewhere but I might be wrong.

Does anyone else think that maybe Rafa is talking him up so much due to the work permit problems he had ? If Gonzalez' case has to go before a review board again, the club can point to all the press he was getting throughout the season and make the case for an " exceptional talent ".

I wouldn't mind Rafa making a bid to get Mido this summer. He is acclimatised to the premiership and the price shouldn't be too prohibitive.

On the issue of shareholders, can anyone tell me if you are entitled to purchase a ticket for all games if you have one share ? I have been thinking of buying one for a while but with the current takeover talk I am a bit wary of it. Are they still around the £3,000 ?

Thanks for that. There was an interesting paragraph in Wyness' interview in the echo, when he was talking about the bitters potential move. Read the part where he mentions the groundshare and the fact it would take a change of ownership at Liverpool for that to happen. He then mentions that a decision will be made on the groundshare in the "very near future". Echo

Has anyone seen this ? Go to the carlsberg site. You have to take a quiz on Liverpool and then you can see the ad. It's a bit cringe worthy to be honest but worth a look. Stevie should never smile.. ever.

I would love to see Lyon win it for Ged's sake. For all his faults he still brought us lots of success and the treble year was truely memorable.
