its just a karma-type comment. i've taken a similar thought process in an attempt to reconcile myself to what happened. we've been in probably the three greatest finals of all time - uefa cup 5-4, Fa cup gerrards final and istanbul. That's an awful lot of joy in our favour in recent times. If we've repaid dues by last years final when we were the better team and the inevitability of the law of averages with chelsea being settled this year when all it may have done (call me half empty) is spare us the utter nightmare of losing to the mancs in the final then as gutted as i was the other night (and i was there), well this point of view has certainly helped me come to terms with this week.
