I was talking to a good firend about three or four weeks ago, happens to work in law for some footie teams and he mentioned the Suarez saga. He said that he thought Ayre will go soon, becuase he reassured FSG that our lawyers, specialists in sport, media and contracts, were more than capable of handling this. FSG wanted to bring in some specialists in racsim and ethnic diversity to work with whoever was the best they could find of that type over here, but Ayre apparently assured them that they were more than covered in this case. We all know how well that went. It surprises me that he is still here, unless he is using the, 'well its what kenny wanted and I couldn't stand up to him sometimes...' blag. My mate also told me to put money on Hodgeson becoming England manager, because Trevor Brooking didn't like or trust Redknapp over something that happened between Redknapp and Billy Bonds. I laughed and said Redknapp was bound to get it, hence Spurs recent form. I wish I had listend to him. I am now very suspicious of Ayre and I wonder why, since Robinson, our hiring of people in this role has been f***ing attrocious.
