Bet Hodgson is gutted. Think of the hoofing we could have done with Carroll up front instead of Torres.

If we can't get the likes of Llorete and Aguero, then as a short-term fix, is it time to make Knox happy and get in Big Kev from Bolton? Relatively cheap, can lead the line and would be useful cover and an alternative to a 'marquee' signing in the summer. The rest of this season is not about beating Barcelona, AC Milan etc, it's about beating the likes of Stoke and West Ham to get into Europe.
